A 37-year-old Peterborough woman is facing ten charges following a two-vehicle collision early Friday evening.
At approximately 5:30 pm on February 6, officers responded to a crash at Reid Street and McDonnell Street. When police arrived, one of the drivers was out of her vehicle yelling at others, including first responders. Officers observed signs of impairment.
When asked for identification, the woman attempted to flee by running onto the road. She was taken into custody with the assistance of an off-duty Auxiliary Unit member.
During a subsequent search of the vehicle, police seized five bottles of alcohol, 64.3 grams of cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
The 37-year-old woman has been charged with:

She received an automatic 90-day licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on March 17, 2026.
