It was the first of two games this weekend for the Petes, as they took on the Owen Sound Attack on Thursday night.
The Petes were coming off a busy weekend last weekend, picking up 4 of 6 points and were looking to continue to mount more points in the Eastern Conference standings as they put some distance between themselves and Niagara and North Bay who are battling it out in 5th spot.
