The Peterborough Petes have added blue-line depth after signing defenceman Ben Radley to an Ontario Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.
General manager and vice-president of operations Michael Oke said Radley brings valuable league experience and will provide competition on the back end as the club looks ahead to next season. Radley is a left-handed defenceman who has already appeared in 70 OHL games.
The Iroquois, Ontario-native was originally selected by the Brantford Bulldogs in the third round of the 2023 OHL Priority Selection and has also played for the Sudbury Wolves. He recorded eight points over parts of three OHL seasons.
This year, Radley suited up for the Stouffville Spirit, posting 11 points in 20 games. He previously played minor hockey with the Petes U16 program, winning an OMHA championship and competing at the OHL Cup.
