The City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed on Highway 7 Friday night.
Officers were called to the scene around 10:00 p.m. on Friday, where a 27-year-old man from Kawartha Lakes was pronounced dead at the scene.
Highway 7 was temporarily closed between Taylors Road and Opmar Road as police investigated.
Police say no foul play is suspected but the investigation remains ongoing.
