A push is on for those interested in taking part in the fourth annual Charity Bonspiel fundraiser benefitting the Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation.
Presented in partnership with Imprinted Apparel Store, the 24-team curling tournament will be held February 14th at the Peterborough Curling Club. Registration, which costs $300 per team and includes breakfast, lunch and a shot at cash prizes, can be made at www.gphsf.ca.
Foundation executive director Vince Bierworth says past bonspiels’ success made it a no-brainer to bring it back again.
Bierworth speaks to where funds raised from past bonspiels have been allocated.
Bierworth says an event like this is yet another example of Peterborough’s unmatched giving spirit.
