The Petes boarded the bus for the final time this weekend, and headed to Guelph to face the Storm……….or the Royal City Jockstraps as they were known this weekend paying homage to their 1927 team name, in honour of the creation of the very important piece of equipment after a Guelph goaltender took a shot in the midsection in the early 1900’s.
The Petes were looking to continue their perfect run since the holiday break, while the Jockstraps (Storm) were on the hunt for two big points to climb up the standings of tough Western Conference
