Freezing rain is expected to move through parts of the province during the final week of 2025, including Peterborough.
Some estimates suggest that we could see total accumulation of 25mm of rainfall, with freezing rain expected to be the majority of the rainfall we’ll see starting on Sunday afternoon.
During March’s ice storm, we saw 20mm of freezing rain which led to wide spread power outages in the City and Peterborough County.
