A 37-year-old Corbyville man is facing several charges after a vehicle was found in a ditch on Yankee Line.
Peterborough County OPP say officers were called just before 6 p.m. Wednesday about a single-vehicle crash. When they arrived, attempts were already underway to remove the vehicle. Police say the driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested before being taken to the detachment for further testing.
Branden Tebworth is charged with impaired operation, refusal to comply with a demand, driving with an open container of liquor and driving while under suspension.
He’s scheduled to appear in court in Peterborough on January 20th. His licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven.
OPP are reminding motorists to plan ahead and arrange a sober ride whenever consuming alcohol or drugs.
