A 27-year-old Peterborough man is facing stunt driving charges after police say he was caught travelling 97 kilometres per hour in a 50 zone.
An officer on patrol near Brealey Drive and Sherbrooke Street around 8:30 a.m. Friday, recorded the speeding vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
The driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with stunt driving and speeding. His licence was suspended for 30 days, and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
He is scheduled to appear in court in February 2026.
