Quirky festive traditions have come and gone, but one has endured, thanks in no small way to the efforts of a Peterborough musician.
On December 19th, 6 to 9 p.m., at the 100 Acre Brewing Company on Ashburnham Drive, Phil Stephenson, joined by his longtime collaborator Glen Caradus, will host his 15th Tacky Sweater Party, with food donation for Kawartha Food Share and St. Vincent de Paul requested.
Stephenson recalls how the event started back when he had a regular gig at the Holiday Inn.
Stephenson said tacky Christmas sweaters have enjoyed a resurgence of sorts, giving this event newfound popularity.
For his part, Stephenson will be wearing what he terms an original.
