Peterborough is set for a night of sharp wit and quick-fire jokes as global comedy superstar Jimmy Carr heads to the Peterborough Memorial Centre. Carr performed in the city for the first time in 2023, and the return stop is part of his new tour, Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny, marking his fifth and most ambitious Canadian tour to date.
The tour will hit an unprecedented 31 cities across Canada, kicking off in Victoria on September 16, 2026. Ontario stops include London on October 14, Hamilton on October 15, Toronto on October 16, Ottawa on October 22, Kingston on October 24, and Peterborough on October 25.
Carr is known worldwide for his dark one-liners, lightning-fast delivery, and unmistakable laugh. Over his career, he has toured more than 40 countries, sold millions of tickets, and become one of the most streamed stand-up comedians of the last decade. His previous tour, Terribly Funny 2.0, sold over one million tickets worldwide and included 293 shows in 145 cities in a single year.
A fixture on UK television, Carr has hosted shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year.
