Peterborough will have one of its own in the spotlight this winter as Emmett Watson joins the cast of Canada Shore, the country’s first-ever adaptation of the global MTV “Shore” franchise.
The 25-year-old Watson, who was born in Peterborough but now lives in Vancouver, is a pipefitter and bodybuilder. His cast bio describes him as a self-proclaimed gym bro with a golden heart and a killer grill game.
His bio also notes that he is a lifelong fan of Jersey Shore and hopes to have fun, make connections, and show that muscles and mischief can go hand in hand.
The series, produced by Insight Productions and filmed last summer on the shores of Kelowna, British Columbia, promises a mix of romance, friendships, and drama as the 10-person cast navigates sun-soaked days and lively nights together.
The show will air in Canada on Paramount+, but fans can catch a preview right now on Pluto TV through the MTV Jersey Shore Channel, where the first two episodes will be available for free starting January 22.
