Home Instead Peterborough’s Be A Santa To A Senior program is back, destined to again bring the joy of the season to older adults across the community.
Until December 12th, people are encouraged to visit one of the participating tree locations, select an ornament that features the name and desired gift of an older adult, buy the gift indicated and then return it to the same location with the ornament attached.
Home Instead Peterborough owner Glen Robson says the program is important from a couple of perspectives.
Now it’s seventh year, Robson says Be A Santa To A Senior has seen thousands of gifts purchased and gifted to older adults who would otherwise go without.
Robson notes there are a number of locations hosting the program, both in Peterborough and Lakefield.
