An 83-year-old man from the City of Kawartha Lakes has been charged in connection with a collision that seriously injured a motorcyclist in August.
The crash occurred around 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, at Lansdowne Street West and Webber Avenue, involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was flown to a Toronto hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Following a full reconstruction of the collision, the driver was charged on Monday with careless driving causing bodily harm.
