A 17-year-old male is facing charges following a street-level robbery in Peterborough.
Police say the incident occurred around 12:16 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, near Hunter Street West and Aylmer Street.
The victim was punched several times in the head, and their shoes and backpack were stolen.
Through investigation, officers identified suspects on Tuesday and the Peterborough Police Street Crime Unit arrested one of them at a residence.
The youth has been charged with robbery with violence and was scheduled to appear in court yesterday. Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, his name cannot be released.
