Nominations for 2026 induction into the Business Hall of Fame, in both Peterborough and the City of Kawartha Lakes, are now being accepted.
Since its 2016 inception, the distinction, organized and presented by Junior Achievement Northern and Eastern Ontario, has celebrated outstanding businesspeople, not only hoisting them up as examples of perseverance and entrepreneurial spirit, but also as mentors of young people embarking on their own life journeys.
JA-NEO CEO and president John McNutt urges those making nominations to keep the criteria in mind.
McNutt says expanding induction a few years ago to include City of Kawartha Lakes businesspeople simply made good sense.
McNutt notes being inducted is a pretty big deal for those honoured.
