The Peterborough Petes have moved the start time for Saturday’s home game against the Kingston Frontenacs to 4:05 p.m. at the Memorial Centre.
The game was originally scheduled for 7:05 p.m., but the change avoids potential overlap with a possible Game 7 of the World Series between Toronto and Los Angeles. The Petes say the 4:05 puck drop is final, even if the World Series doesn’t reach a seventh game.
Tickets are still available through the Grant Thornton Box Office, and the game will air live on Freq 90.5, with coverage beginning just before 4pm.
The Petes are also in action Thursday night when they host London for their Halloween game, with puck drop at 7:05.
