Three Curve Lake First Nation residents are facing multiple charges following a break and enter into a property under construction.
The Anishinabek Police Service says the incident occurred in the early hours of September 29. Investigators allege the suspects forced entry and removed thousands of dollars in tools, furniture, and appliances.
A 37-year-old woman from Curve Lake First Nation was charged with possession of opioids and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, theft under $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
A 35-year-old man from the community faces a charge of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
A 37-year-old man is charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence, possession of opioids and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, theft under $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
All three were released on an undertaking. Police say thousands of dollars in stolen goods have been recovered, but some items remain missing.
