The Rotary Club of Peterborough Kawartha is continuing its tradition of supporting local initiatives that enrich the community. Past projects include the Splash Pad at Nicholls Oval, the Outdoor Gym at Beavermead Park, musical instruments for Riverview Park and Zoo, and funding for Hospice Peterborough.
The club is now inviting local organizations and groups to submit proposals for funding and support. Projects that include a hands-on component, allowing Rotarians to contribute volunteer time in addition to financial support, will be given priority.
Organizations interested in applying can complete the Local Funding Request Form on the Rotary Club’s website at kawartharotary.com under the “Documents” section.
Deadline for submissions is November 15.
