The City of Peterborough will launch a new online customer service portal for Water Services customers in early November, making it easier to manage accounts and pay water bills.
The KUBRA MyHQ™ portal will allow residents to view and pay bills online, with full details on its features to be posted at peterborough.ca/WaterServices ahead of the launch. In preparation, the existing Peterborough Utilities online portal will be limited to bill viewing only as of September 30 while services are transitioned.
Water Services officially moved under City operation in April and billing will now come directly from the City beginning October 6. Customers receiving bills by mail should watch for City of Peterborough Water Services on the envelope.
Starting November 3, in-person customer service and bill payments will be available at Service Peterborough, City Hall, 500 George St. N. Payment options will also include pre-authorized plans, online banking, mail, and a drop box outside City Hall. The Ashburnham Drive drop box will close October 15.
Customer service for Water Services can be reached Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by phone at 705-742-7777 ext. 2650 or 1-855-738-3755, or by email at waterservices@peterborough.ca. For emergencies such as watermain breaks or low water pressure, residents can call 705-748-9300 after hours.
The same Water Services team that previously supported customers through Peterborough Utilities continues to deliver service as part of the City.
