Performing Arts Lakefield opens a new season October 5th at Lakefield United Church with The Dreamboats and its homage to classic music that defined the ‘50s and ‘60s.
The season, which continues a tradition dating back decades, will see five concerts presented, with full details of each show and ticket information available at www.performingartslakefield.org.
Board chair Bill Robb reflects on what was envisioned all those years ago, and the motivation that inspired the concert series’ founders.
Robb notes the objective, year after year, is staging diverse performances which, in turn, appeals to an audience beyond Lakefield.
Robb says the performance venue has been, and remains, key to the series’ success.
