The Trent Excalibur men’s lacrosse team will open their season tonight when they host Queen’s.
Game time is 7pm at Justin Chiu Stadium.
The women will begin their season against Queen’s on Saturday in Kingston.
A fundraiser in support of the PRHC Fund for Pediatric Cancer Care is set to take place later this month at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
Blades of Bravery is a public family skate for all ages, with admission by donation. The event will run from 1 to 2pm on September 20th.
And following a busy week of training camp, the Peterborough Petes are getting closer to finalizing their opening night roster.
Braeside native Kaden McGregor, the first overall pick in this year’s OHL draft, says the Petes veterans have welcomed him with open arms, making the transition to Peterborough that much easier.
The Petes will play the Kingston Frontenacs in preseason play on Sunday at 2pm from the Asphodel-Norwood Community Centre.
