The Peterborough Lakers are on the road tonight for a huge Game 3 against the Six Nations Chiefs.
The Lakers, who have not won a game in Six Nations since August of last year, trail the best-of-seven MSL final 2-0.
Game 4 of the series will shift back to Peterborough for a rare Saturday night game at the Memorial Centre, with opening face-off set for 7 pm.
Chiefs’ Dhane Smith leads all playoff scorers with 43 points in just six games, while Holden Cattoni of the Lakers sits in second spot with 34 points through nine games.
Tonight’s game can be seen live at 8 pm on YourTV.
The U20 World Field Lacrosse Championships resumed today, with Canada beating Jamaica in the quarterfinals. They’ll face Australia tomorrow in the semis. The Canadian team features Peterborough natives Brendan Marino and Wyatt Wiggins, as well as Jr A Laker Sam Trumble.
And on the ball diamond tonight, the Peterborough U14 AAA Tigers will travel to Belleville to take on the Quinte Royals. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 at Rotary Park.
