A 26-year-old Peterborough man is facing multiple drug trafficking charges after being arrested on outstanding warrants.
On Sunday, officers with the Community FIRST Unit spotted the man walking near George Street and Townsend Street. He was taken into custody for failing to appear in court and breaching probation conditions.
During a search after the arrest, police seized 3.5 grams of fentanyl, nearly 28 grams of crystal meth, 25 grams of cocaine, 42 hydromorphone pills, two Dilaudid pills, 36 unidentified pills, drug paraphernalia, and Canadian currency.
The man is now charged with several counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, along with a new probation violation. He remains bound by a court order requiring him to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
