Peterborough Transit is set to implement several route adjustments beginning Sunday, June 29th, with temporary changes to accommodate summer demand and a new permanent trip on one route.
On Route 7 Lansdowne, three weekday trips will be suspended until high school resumes on September 2: the 7:45 a.m. westbound trip from Walker at Bramble, and eastbound trips at 8:05 a.m. from Willowcreek Plaza and 2:40 p.m. from Fleming College. Service will continue every 30 minutes.
Route 9 Parkhill will see the temporary suspension of weekday westbound trips at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. from Trent University – Gzowski College. The eastbound 7:55 a.m. trip from Fleming College will shift to an 8 a.m. departure.
A new permanent daily trip will be added to Route 10 Technology Drive, operating weekdays from 7:55 a.m. to 8:35 a.m.
For Community Bus Route 23, buses will no longer enter the Parkway Centre parking lot due to safety and congestion concerns. Nearby stops will remain in service at Lansdowne at the Parkway and The Parkway at Towersgate.
Riders are encouraged to check schedules regularly and stay informed via Facebook (@Peterborough Transit Service Alerts), X (@ptbo_transit), Google Maps, the Transit app, or by calling 705-745-0525.
