Two people have been charged after a human trafficking investigation by the Peterborough Police Service.
On June 17, officers executed a search warrant at a home near Crawford Drive and Monaghan Road, following an investigation involving victims allegedly being advertised online for sexual services. A shotgun, rifle, cocaine, fentanyl, and Canadian currency were seized during the search.
The investigation was conducted by the Peterborough Police Human Trafficking Unit.
Raheem Smalling, 31, of Whitby, is charged with:

Possession of a firearm knowing the serial number was tampered with (two counts)

Kimberly Butt, 41, of Peterborough, is charged with:

Withholding or destroying documents in relation to trafficking

The Peterborough Police Service has released the names and photos of the accused in case there are other victims who recognize them and want to come forward.
