Peterborough Police are looking for two suspects after a man was assaulted while sleeping on a bench at Del Crary Park.
Officers were called to the area around 3:45am on Saturday, June 7. They say a 62-year-old man was woken by two younger men, leading to a physical altercation. The victim was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment.
Both suspects are described as white males between 18 and 20 years old with slim builds and riding bicycles. One had short hair and was not wearing a shirt. The other had short spiky hair and was wearing a dark shirt.
