With the school year winding down, Peterborough Police are reminding drivers, cyclists, and e-bike riders to stop for school buses when red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended.
The Traffic Unit has received reports of vehicles and bikes failing to stop, putting student safety at risk.
Failing to stop for a school bus can result in a $490 fine and six demerit points.
Police are urging all road users to be alert and follow the rules to help keep students safe.
