Brush and tree debris removal related to the March ice storm has been completed by the city.
Over the past eight weeks, city crews removed more than 6,500 metric tonnes of brush, tree branches and debris from curbsides.
Storm debris that wasn’t placed at the curb for removal, or has been put curbside after city crews completed pickup, won’t be picked up unless it meets guidelines for curbside yard waste collection, such as being placed in brown leaf bags or bins marked with yellow yard waste labels, which are available for free at city hall.
Brush can be tied with light rope or twine, but must not weigh more than 30 pounds, with a maximum length of three feet and a diameter of up to 12 inches.
