Nighttime micro-surfacing work will start on Hunter Street West between Aylmer Street and Queen Street beginning June 2, weather permitting. The work is expected to take place over four to five nights and will wrap up by June 13.
The city is scheduling the road maintenance overnight, from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m., to reduce disruptions to local businesses, pedestrians, and traffic during the day.
Parking restrictions will be in effect during these hours. No parking signs will be posted, and vehicles left in prohibited areas may be ticketed, towed, or impounded.
Drivers who have their vehicles towed can contact the City of Peterborough Municipal Law Enforcement and Security Services Division at 705-707-3969 during business hours for information on retrieval.
