Peterborough residents are invited to weigh in on early plans to revitalize the Otonabee River Trail and shoreline.
An open house is set for tomorrow from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Waterfront on George Street, with a project overview presentation at 5:30.
The proposed upgrades target the section along Crescent Street between Haggart Street and the entrance to Del Crary Park.
Potential improvements include new walking and cycling paths, shoreline protection and naturalization, better access to Little Lake, habitat enhancements, traffic calming, and new public gathering spaces.
The project is still in the concept phase, and the city is asking for input to help shape the design.
CIMA+ has been hired to lead the design work, which marks the first phase of the broader Little Lake Loop—a key part of both the Central Area and Little Lake master plans.
