The weather wasn’t ideal but it didn’t do anything to dampen the spirits of those taking part in the annual ‘Walk A Mile in Their Shoes’ fundraiser.
PTBOTODAY.ca was there and spoke with Executive Director of the YWCA Peterborough-Haliburton Kim Dolan.
Dolan says every dollar raised supports the Journey of Care programs.
As of 12 p.m. on May 23rd, the top individual fundraiser was Sherri Ireland with more than $1,100 and the top team was Team Scotia with over $1,800.
The total amount raised has not yet been determined.
