United Way Peterborough & District has announced the appointment of Paul Rellinger as Chair of its 2025 Community Campaign.
A well-known local reporter and contributor with PTBOTODAY.ca, Oldies 96.7 and FREQ 90.5, Rellinger brings years of volunteerism and leadership to the role, with a track record of organizing events like Peterborough Performs, an annual benefit concert that has raised nearly $150,000 for United Way since its inception five years ago.
As Campaign Chair, Rellinger will lead a volunteer cabinet tasked with fundraising, donor engagement and coordinating inclusive community events. His focus will be on emphasizing the local impact of United Way’s work and its data-driven approach to addressing the region’s most urgent needs.
What was it about Rellinger that made him a good choice? CEO Jim Russell says he’s just a dedicated and passionate person.
