As the saying goes, ‘what’s old is new again’ at Kawartha Downs.
After two seasons of holding harness racing on Friday nights, the decision was made to move back to Saturday for 2025.
Harness Racing Manager Lindsay Bax says she believes this was the right move.
Additionally, Bax says post-time will now be 6 p.m.
Bax says she looks forward to enhancing the experience for both fans and participants. Bar, concession and dining room are open to the public. Race nights are free admission. Kawartha Downs also offers indoor grandstand seating, outdoor picnic table seating and reservations are encouraged for the Grandstand Dining Room buffet.
