Organizations throughout Peterborough city and county had a chance to try and recruit volunteers.
The second annual ‘Meet Your Match’ Volunteer Fair was held at Peterborough Square on Wednesday.
Founder Lois Tuffin says this event acts as a market of opportunities.
Tuffin adds people volunteer for all sorts of reasons – from sharing skills, to making new friends or impacting the community.
Volunteer Peterborough was founded in 2023 with the goal of identifying and overcoming barriers to volunteerism, while also celebrating those who participate.
