Ontario Provincial Police have arrested four individuals following a drug trafficking investigation in Havelock that led to the seizure of cocaine, fentanyl, and other evidence.
On April 30th, members of the Peterborough County/Northumberland Community Street Crime Unit searched a home that had been the subject of multiple drug-related complaints from the public. Ten people were found inside the home and taken into custody. Following a search, police seized 35 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of fentanyl, a digital scale, cell phones, and packaging materials.
Amy Zinck, 44, and Timothy Lowes, 39, both of Havelock, were charged with possession of cocaine and opioids for the purpose of trafficking. Zinck faces additional charges including breach of probation and driving while suspended. Lowes is also charged with operation while prohibited and multiple probation violations. Both are scheduled to appear in court in Peterborough on June 3.
David Hutley, 48, of Stouffville, was charged with methamphetamine possession and was turned over to Quinte West OPP on unrelated warrants.
John Foote, 61, of Peterborough, faces trafficking charges and a release order breach. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The remaining individuals in the residence were released without charges.
