With Tim Hortons in the midst of its largest annual fundraiser, the cookie is nowhere near crumbling.
Until May 4th, proceeds from the sale of Smile Cookies at Tim Hortons locations in Peterborough, Bridgenorth, Lakefield, Curve Lake and Havelock will benefit three local organizations – the BGC Kawarthas Foundation, the CMHA and Five Counties Children’s Centre.
BGC Kawarthas Foundation executive director Amy Terrill says being chosen as one of three benefactors of the campaign is huge for her organization.
With the proceeds benefitting three organizations, Five Counties Children’s Centre CEO Scott Pepin says a lot of bases are covered.
Terrill says the Smile Cookie campaign checks a lot of boxes.
Since its inception in 1996, the Smile Cookie initiative has raised close to $20 million for community groups and charities across North America.
