The Peterborough Petes will sport special jerseys designed by Julien Thiffault during their home game tomorrow against the Brampton Steelheads.
The jersey, featuring a maroon, black, and grey colour scheme with a white Petes logo, was the winning design in the Real Canadian Superstore Jersey Design Contest.
Thiffault will drop the puck before the game and receive a jersey signed by the players. The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned online, with proceeds benefiting the President’s Choice Children’s Charity. The contest has raised over $600,000 over the years, helping the charity fulfill its mission to feed one million kids annually.
Tomorrow’s game, set to begin at 7pm, is the third last regular season home game for the Petes.
