Crediting Trent University with providing her the skills, connections and confidence to excel post-graduation, alumnus Jaime McKenna is giving back to Trent as its School of Business CEO in Residence.
The president of Fengate Real Estate since 2019 as well as a Trent board member, McKenna is thrilled to help the next generation of business graduates dream big, and see their future careers as not simply a destination but also part of a lifelong journey of learning.
Noting Trent ‘was there during a really important part of her life,’ McKenna says giving back to the university didn’t require a second thought.
McKenna speaks to what tells her she’s connecting with students she mentors and having a positive effect on their life trajectories.
McKenna admits to thinking she’s not a mentor but rather just somebody to talk to.
