A 20-year-old man wanted in two other jurisdictions was arrested in Peterborough on Sunday after attempting to mislead police.
Officers responded to a disturbance at a local residence around 1:30pm on February 9th. While no charges stemmed from that incident, police discovered the man had provided a false name and was wanted on warrants for assault, uttering threats, and failing to comply with a release order.
He was taken into custody and now faces additional charges, including obstructing a peace officer and breaching his release conditions, which required him to remain at home.
