1. The City of Peterborough is currently not maintaining a skating rink at the Peterborough Lift Lock. As part of its 2025 Budget deliberations, City Council is considering removing that service as a cost cutting measure.

6. A head-on collision on Highway 7 near Tweed has left one person deceased.
7. It was truly a sight to see. Hundreds and hundreds of people flocked to the new Miskin Law Community Centre to celebrate its grand opening.

8. A well-known pillar in the community has died. Carl Oake, founder of Carl Oake Century 21 United Realty, lost his battle with cancer at the age of 79.
