United Way Peterborough & District has announced progress in its 2024 fundraising campaign, achieving 30% of its $1.5 million goal.
The update came during the City of Peterborough’s workplace campaign launch, an annual event supporting the United Way’s efforts. The city, one of the area’s largest employers, has consistently been a key contributor through its workplace initiatives.
This year’s campaign emphasizes the Double Your Difference initiative, which matches donations to maximize their impact. With rising demand for social services and limited funding alternatives, the campaign is critical to sustaining local programs.
The campaign runs until March 31st. Donations can be made at uwpeterborough.ca.
