A 23-year-old Peterborough man has been charged with two counts of theft after incidents at two local businesses yesterday.
Around 5:30pm on November 7th, Peterborough police were called to a business near Lansdowne and Park streets, where they located a suspect matching the description provided. Officers recovered stolen items and returned them to the business. Further investigation linked the suspect to a similar theft at another business earlier that afternoon.
The man is facing two charges of theft under $5,000. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court today.
