The Austin Carson Band is coming home and, by all indications, fans of the Peterborough-formed rock band are pretty excited.
After two years of performing shows on the road, the band headlines November 16th at the Gordon Best Theatre – a homecoming that quickly sold out. It marks the band’s first Peterborough performance since June 2022 at the Red Dog.
Reflecting on the band’s formation in 2010 when he and his bandmates were St. Peter students, frontman Austin Carson says it’s “mind blowing” to think they’re still together.
While the band has enjoyed success on the road, Carson says there really is no place like home when it comes to performing.
While the focus now is on prepping for the homecoming, Carson says new music is in the offing.
Joining the band at the Gordon Best will be guests Tony Silvestri, Brand Humphrey and Irish Millie.
