After six weeks of searching, the Oldies 96.7 $10,000 Fugitive has been captured safely.
For the second consecutive year, Michael Stringer cracked the clues to figure out who the fugitive was on Thursday afternoon and sprung into action.
This time around, Stringer credits his wife who offered extremely valuable advice.
‘The Fugitive’ was Mike Dunkley, and he was found along the Otonabee River behind the Holiday Inn on George Street.
Stringer says he has been on the search for a long time, but doesn’t think he had any previous close calls.
The two-time champion adds the money will be spent on a family trip.
Jack Donahue was one of the runner-ups, arriving to the scene about six minutes late.
