Hospice Peterborough celebrated a successful return of its in-person Hike for Hospice, drawing close to 250 participants who came together to honour the memory of loved ones lost.
The event started at Millennium Park and included a walk to Roger’s Cove in East City, with some hikers continuing on to Beavermead Beach.
This year marked the 22nd anniversary of the Hike for Hospice and the first in-person event since 2019, as previous years were held virtually due to the pandemic. The hike raised a record-breaking total of over $136,000.
Hospice Peterborough extended its gratitude to all hikers, donors, staff, volunteers, and sponsors for their support in making this event a success.
