In a city where churches abound, All Saints’ Anglican holds a special place in the hearts of congregants, both past and present.
That will be particularly evident throughout 2025 when the Rubidge Street church marks its 150th anniversary via a series of special events and initiatives, including an ambitious fundraising drive destined to build upon All Saints decades-long community outreach work in its neighbourhood.
According to Pastor Samantha Caravan, the milestone is special on a number of levels.
Pastor Caravan says with all the societal and technological advances the world has seen over the years, All Saints remains consistent in attending to its community’s spiritual needs.
Along with events planned for 2025, including a church-hosted concert by the Peterborough Symphony Orchestra, a golf tournament, a gala dinner and November’s city declaration of All Saints Month, a fundraising campaign aims to bring in $150,000.
On September 22nd, All Saints launched the 100-day countdown to its 150th anniversary year milestone. For more information about what’s planned, visit www.allsaintspeterborough.ca.
