Well it is official – hockey season is back.
The Peterborough Petes 2024 Training Camp began on Tuesday at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. The opening day featured camp registration, medical screenings, headshots, and rigorous fitness testing.
“We’re very pleased with the results that we saw today,” said Petes General Manager and Vice President of Operations Michael Oke. “It’s evident that both our returning and recently drafted players put in the work over the summer. We’re looking forward to seeing that effort on the ice starting tomorrow morning.”
Before the camp officially began, players and their families attended an orientation session led by Oke and Head Coach Rob Wilson. Following the session, participants were introduced to the Petes staff and divided into their respective teams to begin the camp.
