Police have laid a slew of charges following a call on Sunday night.
Officials say they got a call about suspicious activity involving a vehicle and four people in the area of Chesterfield Avenue and Downie Street just after 6pm.
Investigators conducted a traffic stop on Parkhill Road West, and based on the information they received, performed a high-risk arrest at gun point.
All four people were arrested and after a search of the suspect vehicle, they recovered
- 8.1 grams of Cocaine
- 1.2 grams of unknown substance
- Drug paraphernalia
As a result of the investigation,
A 30-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine
A 27-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine
A 37-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine
A 33-year-old Ennismore man was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine
All four accused were released on undertakings and are scheduled to appear in court, August 27th.
