The Ennismore Curling Club will hold its annual fundraising garage and bake sale July 19th and 20th – a precursor to number of special events planned for later this year to mark the club’s 50th anniversary.
Club member Andrea Mitchell, who is co-organizing the sale with Beth Sinclair, says with it being held at the same time as the annual Shamrock Festival, attracting a large crowd isn’t an issue.
In advance of the sale, the push now is to collect items from the public.
Mitchell says the club’s 50th anniversary milestone is a reminder of how important a community social hub it has been since 1974.
